Why Greyfriars' Sixth Form?

The sixth form at Greyfriars provides a structured and nurturing environment for students interested in 16+ study.  We have a widening participation policy at our sixth form and have an exceptional record for students making above average progress.

We have good achievement across all levels and this can be seen in our results.  We also provide opportunities for our students to develop their spiritual and moral attitudes through mentoring and other extra-curricular activities.

Continuing your studies here means learning within a supportive Catholic structure with good and caring relationships between staff and students; a high value placed on achievement; experienced and well qualified staff who are already aware of your strengths and your development points and who will help you mature intellectually, morally and socially; a familiar environment amongst friends, and our focus on the student as an individual.

We welcome students from other schools into our sixth form and value the contribution everyone brings to our community.  We help new students to settle quickly and our small size enables staff to provide the appropriate support to learning and development.  We offer a structured and supportive environment to explore the opportunities that contribute to personal development as well as the entire school community.
