Greyfriars Catholic School: Post-16 Results 2025
Greyfriars Catholic School is delighted to celebrate the achievements of our KS5 students today. We are so proud of them and of the hard work they have put in to secure their qualifications. This year group has faced many challenges during their education as a result of the pandemic, and they have shown great resilience, determination and spirit.
We are thrilled that so many of our students have secured places at university. Destinations this year include the University of Nottingham for Law, University of Reading for Chemistry, UWE Bristol for Film Production, Kingston University for Automotive Engineering, Bournemouth University for Computer Science, as well as Oxford Brookes University, a popular local choice, with courses including Bio-Medicine, Computer Science, Business & Psychology.
It has been a real joy to spend the morning talking with students about their next steps, hearing not only about the challenges they have overcome, but also the joy and friendships they have found during their time with us. Whether heading to university, exploring apprenticeships, or moving straight into the world of work, they take with them the values and community spirit that are the heart of Greyfriars.
As we often say here, the community is the people and we know that our students have the power to transform the world in remarkable ways; we are proud of all they have achieved and grateful for the positive contribution they have made to our school.

Given the uneven impact of the pandemic on school and college performance data, the government has said you should not make direct comparisons between the performance data for one school or college and another, or to data from previous years.
